Handwara 23 Feb (KNO) : Condemning raids at residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejrwal, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has said that Indian democracy is at worst stake after Indra Gandhi,s emergency era. In a statement issued today Er. Rasheed said “those claiming India to be largest democracy are now not tolerating even those whose integrity, honesty commitment and dedication to people is far better than those ruling in the center. The happenings in Delhi and many other states are ample reason to reach the conclusion that India has lost the moral right to call itself the largest democracy of the world.

Whatsoever Arvind Kejrwal and his team are facing in New Delhi has exposed the intolerance within political dispensation in India and has also raised a huge question mark on the credibility of institutions. While besides Congress and BJP almost every political party seems to be having deep nexus with those who have looted India’s wealth, Arvind Kejrwal despite all his negativities emerged as a ray of hope for a large section of Indian society, whom they were expecting would somewhat improve the rotten system of governance. Lodging FIR’s against AAP MLA’s and humiliating them on daily basis is condemnable and these acts negate the propaganda when Indian media criticizes the democracy and democratic institutions in neighboring countries. However congress and BJP seem to be in complete agreement that Arvind Kajrewal,s image should be astonished and people should be made to realize that no such force promising a change should emerge. The way bureaucracy is overpowering political dispensation will prove disastrous for the Indian state sooner than later”.

Er. Rasheed added that this thinking and behavior may favour BJP or congress in defaming and undermining Aam Aadmi Party but at the end of the day all these shameless acts will prove fatal for India’s democratic traditions and the credibility of its institutions will come under serious question marks.(KNO)
